Backtagging: Yes, please. If you've dropped our thread, never hesitate to come back to it later. I try to tag once a day but I can't always. I appreciate a heads-up if you know you'll be gone a long time; I'll offer the same courtesy to you. But if RL kicks in and you just disappear, no hard feelings.
Threadhopping: Yes, if everyone agrees.
Fourthwalling: If the meme calls for it, not for random reasons.
Flirting: Yes. She is a saloon girl, after all.

I'm all for playing gen threads with anybody else, though. It would be fun if Velvet had close female friends. I can totally see her hugging and even cuddling with them - and talking about men. I'm not against the idea that some lady likes her more than a friend. Velvet just wouldn't reciprocate such feelings.

Since the only thing we know about Velvet is this little exchange between Ben Wade and a saloon girl, I've created a bit of headcanon for her. Obviously Velvet was someone whom both men and women considered unique and memorable.
Her real name for my roleplay is Esperanza Nuñes Rivera, but she goes by Velvet now. She is 19 years old.
She was born to Spanish-speaking parents Maria and Javier in Los Cerrillos (now in New Mexico, USA). Javier was a miner who died when Velvet was nine years old. She has an older brother and two younger sisters.
She went to school for about two years and can read and write a little bit. You wouldn't really find her reading for fun, however.
Velvet moved out of home at the age of eighteen. She would have wanted to leave sooner but she felt obliged to stay and help her mother with the younger siblings. She worked as a washer woman alongside her mother but wanted something better.
At her room in the saloon, Velvet has a small wooden casket, handmade by her father and given to her mother as a wedding present. In it she keeps things that are valuable to her, like her rosary, a few inexpensive pieces of jewerly and a seashell that her grandmother gave her.
Appearance:
We don't know how she looked like,although she might have had green eyes. This I suspect because Wade, making a pass at this other woman, asks her if she has green eyes. This is right after they mentioned Velvet, so perhaps Wade is still thinking about her and wanting to re-live the moments he had with her. [Note: The girl with green eyes was the daughter of a sea captain. Wade had met her in San Francisco]. The saloon girl looks at Wade; her eyes are dark, not green but this doesn't matter to Wade after all.
The PB I chose is a Spanish actress, Soledad Miranda and she clearly does not have green eyes. Therefore "my" Velvet also has dark eyes and dark hair. And let's say she's about 160 cm (5 ft 2 inches) tall.

Since she is a hooker, sex is bound to happen in some rp threads with her but please don't hesitate to tag her thinking I'm pushing for sex scenes. I'm not here because of smut, despite of Velvet's chosen profession. I am also more than happy to write fade-to-black if you just want to imply things.
I was just always intrigued about her and now want to explore her personality through roleplay.
Things that I am willing to rp smut-wise and that your character can do with/to her:
- consensual F/M sex (but no anal)
- light playful slapping, spanking or biting
- food play
- hair pulling
- bathing scenes
- anything that would be considered tame or 'vanilla'
- your character can use dirty language and be a little rough with her (she won't do those things even if asked)
- her movements can be restricted with your character's body (pinning her down for example) but not with actual bondage.
The more I've threaded with someone, the more can be added.
